Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway

คนฝรั่งเขาจะไม่ตระเตรียมอะไรกันเนิ่นนานแบบคนเอเชีย ก่อนที่ท่านจะเสด็จ แค่ 10 นาทีเขาก็เอาพรมแดงมาปู คนก็ออกมายืนยักไหล่รอดู น่าเกลียดกันจังเลยฝรั่งนี่นา

ฉันได้ฉายพระรูปของเจ้าชายเจ้าหญิงมาหลายรูป มีหลายคนมองฉันแบบอิจฉานิดๆที่เขาไม่ได้เตรียมกล้องถ่ายรูปมา ช่วยไม่ได้เพราะฉันพกกล้องติดกระเป๋าตลอดเวลา ไม่ใช่อะไรจ๊ะ ไม่อยากทิ้งไว้ที่บ้าน กลัวโขมยเข้าบ้านแล้วได้กล้องฉันไป เจ้าหญิงก็น่ารัก เธอมาหยุดยืนให้ฉันได้ถ่ายรูปเธอแบบชัดๆด้วย แต่ฉันอยากจะตีตัวเองจริงๆ ที่เกรงใจจนไม่กล้าใช้แฟลช เลยทำให้รูปที่ออกมามัว รูปเจ้าชายสุดหล่อ ไม่ชัดเลยสักรูป เห็นท่านเพียงลางๆ เอาเถอะ บันทึกลงในความทรงจำที่รอยหยักเส้นที่แสนเก้าบนหัวของฉันแทนก็แล้วกัน

Subject: Visit of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Norway - Thursday, 23 September at 10h30

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway will be paying an official visit to UNHCR on Thursday, 23 September, starting at 10h30. The royal couple will begin by paying a courtesy call to the High Commissioner. Afterwards, and in line with their keen interest in operational issues, they will meet with staff from the Bureau, ESS, DOS and the NGO Liaison Unit. The visit will end at 11h45.

This trip of the royal couple to Geneva is in fact a wedding present offered to them by five large humanitarian NGOs in Norway (Norwegian Refugee Council, Red Cross, Norwegian Peoples Aid, Kirkens Nodhjelp (Norwegian Church Aid) and Save the Children) , in order to better acquaint them with the humanitarian work being done there by the UN, Red Cross, and NGO actors.

The Prince and Princess are already familiar with and experienced in international humanitarian issues. The Prince knows the UN from his time at the Norwegian delegation in New York, his development studies at Berkeley, and a diplomat course at the MFA. The Princess interned at NORAD, and has taken human rights courses in London. Both have demonstrated an interest in refugee issues.

Staff members who wish to, are invited to applaud the couple as they walk down the red carpet in the UNHCR atrium. They should assemble in the atrium or on the landings by 10h25.
